Frequently asked questions

I'm a NZ citizen — do I need a Commencement of Identity document?
No. NZ citizens are verified automatically via VEVO as part of the check, so you won't see the Commencement of Identity list in your candidate experience.

My ID documents are in a different name (e.g. after marriage) — what should I do?
Upload a supporting linkage document, such as a marriage certificate or legal name change certificate, alongside your ID.

My documents aren't in English — is that okay?
Yes, but they need to be accompanied by a certified translation.

I can't provide documents from these lists — what are my options?
Get in touch with us — additional documents may be accepted at our discretion.
