## Frequently asked questions

**Why do I need to provide 100 points of ID?**
The 100-point system is the standard identity verification method used for this check. It's how the Australian Federal Police confirm the results belong to you.

**Can I use a photo of my digital driver licence?**
Yes — a screenshot from your state or territory's official licence app is accepted, as long as it clearly shows your name, photo, address and licence expiry date. Queensland PDF licence printouts are not accepted.

**I don't have 100 points of ID — what can I do?**
Combine documents from the Primary and Secondary lists until you reach 100 points, with at least one document from the Primary list. If you're still short, get in touch with us — additional documents may be accepted at our discretion.

**My ID documents are in a different name (e.g. after marriage) — what should I do?**
Upload a supporting linkage document, such as a marriage certificate or legal name change certificate, alongside your ID.

**My documents aren't in English — is that okay?**
Yes, but they need to be accompanied by a certified translation.
