## Frequently asked questions

**I'm a NZ citizen — do I need a Commencement of Identity document?**
No. NZ citizens are verified automatically via VEVO as part of the check, so you won't see the Commencement of Identity list in your candidate experience.

**My ID documents are in a different name (e.g. after marriage) — what should I do?**
Upload a supporting linkage document, such as a marriage certificate or legal name change certificate, alongside your ID.

**My documents aren't in English — is that okay?**
Yes, but they need to be accompanied by a certified translation.

**I can't provide documents from these lists — what are my options?**
