# Setting up the Springboard integration

Integrating Springboard with Checkmate streamlines your candidate background screening process. Once set up, you can launch checks in Checkmate without leaving Springboard, and view the progress of checks directly within Springboard.

This integration is not an out-of-the-box setup, and some configuration work will be required on the client side before it can go live.
