Integrating JobAdder with Checkmate streamlines your candidate background screening process. Once set up, you can launch background checks and track their progress without leaving JobAdder.
Checkmate integrations are configured at company level. To avoid any issues, we recommend completing the steps below using your company's Checkmate user account with the highest level of permissions.
Once you've completed setup, see Candidate checks via JobAdder to get started.
- While signed in to your Checkmate account, navigate to your company settings by clicking your initials in the upper-right corner and selecting Company Settings.
- Navigate to the Integrations tab.
- Use the search field to find the JobAdder card, or scroll to find it.
- Toggle the JobAdder integration on.
- You will be prompted to log in to JobAdder to authorise the connection. Enter your JobAdder credentials and click Sign In.

Add the Checkmate status column in JobAdder
To view the status of Checkmate checks directly within JobAdder, you will need to add the Checkmate Status column to the Applications table.
- In JobAdder, navigate to the Candidates view.

- Select a candidate.

- Click on the Applications tab.

- Click the settings cog.

- Scroll to locate and tick the Checkmate Status option.

- Drag the Checkmate Status option to the top of the list.

- Click Save.

- Confirm that the Checkmate Status column is now visible in the Applications table.

- Click on Jobs to open the Jobs view.

- Click on a job title within the Job Title column.

- Click the dropdown arrow on the column next to where you want to insert the Checkmate Status column.

- Click Show from the menu, then scroll to locate and click the Checkmate Status option.

- You should now see the Checkmate Status column in the table.

- Click on Applications to open the Applications view.

- Click the dropdown arrow on the column next to where you want to insert the Checkmate Status column.

- Click Show from the menu, then scroll to locate and click the Checkmate Status option.

- You should now see the Checkmate Status column in the table.
