Candidate checks via JobAdder

Once the JobAdder integration is set up, you can launch background checks and track their progress without leaving JobAdder.

If you haven't set up the integration yet, see Setting up the JobAdder integration before continuing.

Launch checks within JobAdder

  1. From the Job Applications view or after selecting a job from the Jobs view, select the candidate you want to run background checks for.
Tip

This process can also be accessed via the Candidates view if the candidate has been linked to a job.

  1. Open the Actions menu by clicking on Actions in the top-right corner.

  1. Click Checkmate, then click Start Assessment.

  1. A popup will display the candidate details. Review and update the prepopulated candidate details as required.
  2. Scroll down and click Select Checks.

Candidate Details

  1. Select the Bundle or individual checks you'd like to launch. If your organisation has more than one brand, select the appropriate Brand.
  2. Once you've selected your checks and configured any options for those checks, scroll down and click Launch Checks.
Tip

Bundles are a quick and easy way to launch multiple checks for a candidate at once. Learn more about bundles.

Click the Checkmate Status to open up the Checkmate window.

The following 3 tabs allow you to view progress and edit candidate details:

Background Checks - From here you can view the status of the check, add additional checks using the Add Checks button and download results when checks are complete.

Candidate - This tab allows you to update the candidate's details at any time during the background check process.

History - This tab shows a chronological log of events related to the candidate's background screening process.

Result files can be downloaded via the Background Checks tab when the check has been completed.
