Once the Workable integration is set up, you can launch background checks and track their progress without leaving Workable.
If you haven't set up the integration yet, see Setting up the Workable integration before continuing.
Launch checks within Workable
Checks are launched when a candidate is moved to the pre-configured stage in their Workable profile. The stage used to trigger checks varies by organisation — it may be named Reference Checks, Background Checks, or something similar. Contact your manager if you're unsure which stage to use.
- While on the candidate profile, move the candidate to the pre-configured stage.

Within a few seconds, a link will appear in the Comments section of the candidate's profile.

- Click the link in Comments to open the Checkmate window.
- Under Candidate Assignment, select yourself to ensure you receive all notifications related to this candidate.

- Select the Bundle or individual checks you'd like to launch. If your organisation has more than one brand, select the appropriate Brand.
- Once you've selected your checks and configured any options for those checks, scroll down and click Launch Checks.
Bundles are a quick and easy way to launch multiple checks for a candidate at once. Learn more about bundles.

Monitor progress
As checks progress, Workable will display updated status notes in the Comments section of the candidate's profile. Click any of the links in the comments to open the candidate's Checkmate profile.

The following 3 tabs allow you to view progress and edit candidate details:
Background Checks - From here you can view the status of the check, add additional checks using the Add Checks button and download results when checks are complete.
Candidate - This tab allows you to update the candidate's details at any time during the background check process.
History - This tab shows a chronological log of events related to the candidate's background screening process.

View results
Result files can be downloaded via the Background Checks tab when the check has been completed.
