Once the Humanforce integration is set up, you can launch background checks and track their progress without leaving Humanforce.
If you haven't set up the integration yet, see Setting up the Humanforce integration before continuing.
Assign a bundle to a job in Humanforce
This step only needs to be completed once per job.
- In Humanforce, click Jobs and navigate to the job you want to run checks for.

- Click the ⋮ menu and select Edit job Details.

- Scroll down to the Checkmate section and set Does this job require a Checkmate check? to Yes.

- Select the Checkmate bundle you would like to use for this job in the Select your Checkmate package dropdown.

- Click Save.

Launch checks within Humanforce
- From the Jobs page, click on the relevant job to open the candidate list.

- In the Status column, click the candidate's current status to open the Status Change window.

- Change the candidate's status to Checkmate Requested and click Save.

- Refresh the page — the candidate status should update to In Progress.

Monitor progress
The Hide Widget setting in Checkmate must be toggled off to view check progress and results within Humanforce.
To monitor the progress of checks, click on the candidate and select the Activity tab. Follow the link to view the candidate details and monitor process.

The following 3 tabs allow you to view progress and edit candidate details:
Background Checks - From here you can view the status of the check, add additional checks using the Add Checks button and download results when checks are complete.
Candidate - This tab allows you to update the candidate's details at any time during the background check process.
History - This tab shows a chronological log of events related to the candidate's background screening process.

View results
Once all checks are complete, the candidate status will automatically update to Checkmate Completed. Results can be viewed and downloaded via the candidate's Activity tab (provided the Hide Widget toggle is disabled).
Result files can be downloaded via the Background Checks tab when the check has been completed.
